Commercial work can be undertaken on any subject. Previous assignments include the photography of Pottery, Jewellery, Glass, Paintings and Art work, Handmade Soap, Drumsticks, Archive documents, Buildings - interior and exterior, Engineering plant, Construction sites, and a wide range of photography for web use.
I can also produce archival quality “Giclee” prints for artists. A “Giclée” print is artwork or a photograph printed using a very high quality digital inkjet printer on archival quality papers or canvas. The inks used must be specially formulated and compatible with the extreme fineness of the printer head that squirts very fine jets of ink in minute droplets at a resolution of 1440 dpi or better on to archival quality acid free paper which is specially prepared to accept this type of printing system and inks.
The prints I produce are at a resolution of 2880 dpi using the very latest Ultrachrome pigment based Inks by Epson, on Archival quality Art paper or canvas up to A2 (around 17” x 24”)
The growth in the Giclée market is phenomenal. Giclée prints are taking over from lithographs and screen prints in the fine art business, and are becoming the dominant and preferred method for artists, galleries and publishers for reproductions and prints, looking almost identical to the original art work.
